Tom Kiler — Founder
Spark & Halo is led by Tom Kiler, who has nearly two decades of experience in mixed-use and retail real estate. From acquisition, design, and entitlement to leasing, construction, and operations, he has led millions of square feet of successful mixed-use development and retail repositioning projects across the U.S.
Prior to starting Spark & Halo, Tom served as Managing Director of the Western Region for EDENS – a private retail REIT - where he led a 20-person team in the transformation of a $1B, 22-property portfolio spanning Denver, Houston, Dallas and Austin. In Denver, he led the acquisition and re-positioning of 14 buildings comprised of 150,000 square feet within the Five Points/RiNo neighborhood. Tom also previously oversaw development activities at Mosaic District, a 31-acre, 2,000,000 square foot mixed-use development in Fairfax, VA, transforming the community from a dilapidated movie theater, salvage yards, and parking lots, into a renowned walkable, mixed-use neighborhood.
Tom also serves on the boards of the RiNo Art District and the Downtown Denver Partnership.
